

Frida Stenbäck
BIO
Frida Stenbäck is an artist-designer based in Helsinki.
Working across visual arts, scenography, and grassroots festival production, her interdisciplinary practice is guided by eco-social values, passion for learning and societal topics. She explores different materials, techniques, and processes through hands-on experimentation. Recently, her focus has been on natural fibers, hand weaving, ceramics, and mind mapping.
She is a member of the Asbestos Collective and a co-founder of Asbestos Art Space, a low-threshold venue for art and activism in Helsinki. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Aalto University's Department of Design (2021) and is currently completing her Master’s studies in Collaborative and Industrial Design at Aalto University School of Arts, Design and Architecture.
